Question for anyone that has taken a cruise out of Miami?

What is the best way to get to the airport from the cruise terminal? Carnival offers shuttle service but its $16. pp (2 people = $32.). Would it be better (cheaper) to just take a cab? Im guessing they have plenty of cabs available when the ships pull in. What do they charge for 2 people? Any insight would be helpful.

It's $24 +$1 per person for the price for a cab.

It is a regulated flat rate to/from the airport and the cruise terminal.

You would be much better off just taking a cab. Even if it costs a few dollars more it would be much easier than the shuttle bus. I don't know what the exact cost is for a cab, but including tip it should not be much more than the shuttle.

If you have more than one person, the taxi is the cheaper way to go.
