***EASY 3D Modeling Program?

-The best answer will get 10 points(if there will be one)

-So I'm looking for a 3D modeling(not really sure if it's called modeling) software that is easy to use.

Now I want a program that I don't really need to sculpt a figure. I'm looking for an already made figure that I could maybe put in an a live video capture.

I tired a few modeling tutorials but it's too damn hard..

-I found a few programs but they are just for modeling. Can't convert it to a video file(or better to say, I don't know how), can't put any sort of background in it..

Let's just say I'm not at the expert level yet..

-So the main characteristics are that it's easy to use and I could put it in like a video of the real footage :)

-Please don't answer because of the points... I would like some really help.. You can write as long as you'd like, just give me a good answer.

Thanks ;)

Well i'm not sure if there are any "easy" modeling softwares but if you're looking for ready made characters then all you need to do is to find some sharing community (a good one is turbosquid.com) and get some models to import into whatever program you're using now. Some of the user friendly but sophisticated programs include Autodesk Maya or 3ds Max. Most of the programs like these are usually very costly. They all have the ability to use live footage though. I think what you're referring to is something called "motion tracking" and this usually takes more than just the 3d software itself if you want to get good effects. What i suggest unless you alreay have the programs above is an open source program called Blender which can be found at blender.org. It's capable of doing what Maya and the other leading programs can do and supports motion tracking. For the actual tracking itself, Voodoo is also useful and free as well. If you find a better program however, go for it as long as it supports motion tracking and 3d models.

3ds Max is the easiest. There is a lot to it but it is as easy as it gets. Perhaps it is just the user interface. Houdini is probably the hardest. Maya has too much in the intitial gui - nice program, but confusing. Blender, free is always good but the bounce from one section to another, like Carrara, to get stuff done is a pain. I've used all the above mentioned and have been involved in 3d for over 10 years. When I say easiest that is what I mean, not easy. All the 3d programs have a lot going on and will cost you time to learn them.

There is no "easy" modeling program. Blender is free and open source and there are a lot of models out there. It does provide straightforward tools for animating your models, creating clips you can edit into other other programs but things like modelling and vector drawing are NOT easy subjects to learn. You can't just do it and they can't make easy defaults because there really isn't a consensus over what goes into those defaults.
