Highly doubt that. I had teeth pulled and the dentist just numbed my gums. Like when you have a cavity filled and they stick the needle in your gums with novicane. That's all you will get probably. I broke my collar bone and the bone ripped through my skin and had surgery to put it back together with a metal plate and screws and took no painkillers what so ever. So I doubt you need painkillers to get your teeth pulled.

Probably not, he will most likely use anesthesia while preforming the surgery, and then a lower grade pain killer afterwards (It will most likely have a Codine base similar to OXY-Cotin, but less powerful.) However every doctor is different, so the possibility is there.
