Where B, K and W are all constants.

Cheers.

    (d)\/(dx)((B K)\/(W-x)^2) = (2 B K)\/(W-x)^3

Wolpram Alpha will expand and break-down all the steps so that you can see EVERYTHING!

BTW... When I first glanced at your name I though it was "Time for Herpes". I had a similar situation a while back when a man with a thick accent answered my question "What the heck is that on your head?". It sure didn't sound like "hair piece".

    BK d/dx ( W-x)^-2

    = BK (-2) (W-x)^-3 d/dx (W-x)

    = -2BK (W-x)^-3 (-1)

    = 2BK /(W-x)^3

    2BK(W-X)^-3

    or

    2BK/(W-X)^3

do this by the chain rule
