Am I still protected on the placebo pills?

I take Lo Loestrin birth control, I've been on it for 3 months. It has 24 active blue pills, 2 white placebos and 2 brown reminders.

I took my last blue pill last night, and as today is my boyfriend and I's anniversary, I'm expecting to have unprotected sex tonight(stds are not a problem). Will I still be protected if I start my placebos after sex?

Serious answers please, it might be a dumb question but I need to know(: thanks!

Yes as long as you take the pill every day at around the same time as directed on the instructions then you are protected for all the days of the month, when you are taking real pills, placebo pills & when you are bleeding. There wouldn't be much point in having a pill where you weren't protected for part of the time would there when you think about it?
