I need some help with MacBook Pro.?
I got a MacBook Pro yesterday, and I've (very stupidly) forgot to back up my computer. Now that I've actually tried to back it up, the drive is too big (I set all the mail and played around with the settings) and I can't do it. Is there any way I can reset my computer to factory settings without the back up? Thanks in advance!

I want to know more about the problem. What do you mean the drive is too big to back up?
Also, you can reset your computer to factory settings without a backup. But do you want to keep your files or lose them? (there's a way to do both).
Also, if you are worried about what happens if something goes wrong, and you just want a backup of your mac at factory settings, you do NOT need one. If something goes wrong, you can hold down the option key (and keep holding it) when you turn on your mac. Then click, Recovery, and fully reinstall the OS. - Basically, the mac comes with its own backup copy built in. Reinstalling the OS should not cause you to lose your files.
If you're talking about keeping your files, I would buy a large external HDD and back up using Time Machine.
Switching to a mac takes some getting used to. Apple takes care of you automatically for things you may not expect. Email me, and post more details about your question, and I can give you a better answer.

Reboot the computer.
Hold down command+s after the chime.
At the prompt enter the following. Hit return after each line.
mount -uw /
rm /var/db/.AppleSetupDone
shutdown -h now
When you reboot you will get the Apple setup, just as you would after a fresh install. Create a new account and Just delete the old one.
Good Luck
