Is this bus a good buy? HELP!!!?

being that I'm in PA and in the aircooled VW scene I would say its a candidate for being saved but not at 2 large. A good friend of mine picked up a 67 back in 2006-7 for $1200 with a rust free straight body missing middle passenger seat and a struggling to run engine. for $2K I would expect to find less body rot. try to nudge him down. or wait it out until the owner NEEDS it gone and then you might get a good deal.

if you dont mind me asking where in PA is the bus? Im in Lancaster.

If It's not a rust bucket that is a really good deal if It's a real Westy, I'm in CA and a 67westy in half decent shape probably 3 to 5000, interior would be nice to have but you could work around it, lots of guys like 67 VW's 1st year 12 volt and they changed the body in 68, good luck with that and you might even make some money on it, hey if it is a bondo rust bucket, walk away

Well, If you can build or fix up cars then yes, it's an alright buy...

I dont know about 2 grand.... its really rotted out.
