I decided that i want to talk to my guidance counselor at my school. I have chilled with her before with my friend, so i know her, but i don't know how to ask her to talk. She isn't at school often, but when i see her, i never know how to ask her

Simply, can I talk to you. She will either give you a time to come see her or you will accompany her to her office

Write down a bullet point list, not all the detail just a list of the things you really want to get aired.
Put the list in your pocket, when you next see her and she spys the list in your hand you won't really need to think about how to ask her, she will ask you.

I'm not sure if it's the same at your school, but at my school, you have to make an appointment. When I do they always ask "What's it regarding?" tell them it's about your mental health or whatever it may be that you need to talk about. She will be happy to help! After all, it is her job :)

the easiest way would be to leave a note in her message box. if thats not possible, tell her you would like to discuss some things with her - she'll know what that means. and good for you for not being afraid to ask for help when you need it!!!
