Why don't girls wear skirts these days for school?

well honestly i like a cute skirt and with panty hose's and a cute blouse. But that's just me, i do think that a lot is changing and that style is going away but i find it so cool when i see another girl my age at school wearing a skirt and panty hose's.

It's going away because girls feel more comfortable in skinny jeans and Tshirt not some skirt that makes her feel uncomfortable around Pervy guys

Number one, it's way to cold for skirts or anything of that short. & that's just how the style evolved, and i don't think it's coming back but hey the skinny jeans came back and they evolved from the 70's/80's so time will tell.

Girls DO wear skirts! Atleast in my school(: half of the school wore a skirt for Valentines Day and half of those were dress coded (it has to be 8 inches above the bottom of tour knee) but I think they're really cute with a flowy top and black oxfords! A girl wore that and she looked cute(: hope I helped^.^

This is an effect of all of the designs and trends. I like those too, but its because a lot of designers like aeropostal, ll bean and others are showing the female population that this is what looks good, even if its not as good as a skirt.

Skinny jeans are very comfortable.

They feel more comfortable wearing jeans, they have no time for old fashioned annoyances.

well basically they do but now a days they are too ashamed of their legs etc its just weird !!
