Best Offer the Sabres could get for Derek Roy?
Realistically (Teams that are in the market for a centre like Roy) what is the best possible realistic offer Buffalo could get for him specifically
Look I get the Sabres wana dump cap space but no way in hell it's a straight salary dump for Stajan. At the very least they'd get picks

I don't think Darcy will do it, but if he does...
Buffalo trades Derek Roy to the LA Kings for Jarret Stoll and a 2nd round pick in the 2012 NHL Entry Draft.
That is all I could think of.
EDIT: Nevermind because now Jeff Carter just went to the Kings.
How about this? (all this is all I could think of to respond to the carter deal)...
Sabres trade Derek Roy to the Flames for Matt Stajan (EDIT: Okay. I'll add a 2nd rounder for 2012 and maybe a 4th for 2013.)
I don't know. It could make sense

Derek Roy had to pass. He said as out Lindy Ruff, and Ott is a strong pickup thinking they lost Gaustad on the time reduce very last year. If Leino can leap back, and the adult men like Pominville, Vanek and Ennis can produce, the Sabres might want to be sturdy. they have sturdy protection too (Reghyr, Myers, Erhoff) and a sturdy goaltender at the same time as he's on his recreation. i imagine that the Sabres will leap back with a extra constructive year.
