Can an HID kit be installed on a car withOUT projection headlights?
Hey guys, i recently purchased a new car with regular incandescent light bulbs. I was looking to give the car's lights a better look so i was wondering if i could install an HID kit on it. These are NOT projection headlights, no convex lens (which is where i've seen most HID kits installed)just regular lights, or would i have to go with a set of halogen bulbs? Thanks!

1, do not change the lens, the light is too bright, the general impact on the opposite carriageway. The police will be caught.
Hernia light reaction is slow, is not suitable as the need to quickly change the light beam (light switch life, with the beam may be 1,2 years after the breakdown of the transformer, serious may be slightly the computer version of the car on the circuit)

After market HID kits will fit your car but there is always issues with this. IF you look at vehicles that come factory equipped HIDs if the vehicle is equipped with the projector lens it will have H2S bulbs. If the vehicle is with factory HID without projector lenses they will have H2R bulbs. They will look exactly the same except for a deflector plate on the glass. This deflector plate is critical for the light transmission its what keeps these super bright bulbs from blinding other drivers.
The reason why I explain this is because 99% of these aftermarket kits do not have the deflector plate on the glass and you run the risk of getting pulled over by the cops when you blind one at night because there not DOT approved.

you most definitely can put an HID kit on your vehicle, assuming there is a proper fitting bulb. The projector housing shouldnt matter, but can help with the way the light reflects. check out the size finder on this site to help: http://hidheadlightconversion.com/

it will not affect battery life. The problem with HID is only if you have daytime running lights that run on lower power. HID conversion is generally illegal, but if you have 6000k, the cops cant tell because so many cars have HID as factory.
