Attention GM technician: Anitlock Brake light on in S-10 pickup truck with no codes stored. WHY?

I have a 1994 S10 with 4 wheel anti lock brakes and the "Z" throttle body fuel injection engine. The antilock brake light stays on (the regular brake light is off). I connected a scan tool to the truck it says no codes are stored. Scanning the sensor inputs shows that the wheel sensors indicate 3 MPH while the vehicle is standing still. All three sensors read the same thing and readings increase when the truck moves but go back to 3 MPH when you stop. I have tried to move the plug wires away from the wiring harness but that did not get rid of the problem. Is there a GM mechanic out there who has run into this problem?

First try a flush and fill of your BRAKE FLUID!! It goes south after 2-3 years, gets toxic, acidic, and begins to turn into liquid sandpaper. It also gets VERY thin with time as it absorbs moisture from the air, like it is suppose4d to. This can affect your ABS and wheel sensors and cause caliper and master cyinder premature rotting and needless wear!!! Have your harness at ALL four wheels cleaned up with BRAKE CLEANER spary to insure proper contacts are made. Many times, an inferior brake job will cause a sensor to get out of place, or other issues from being disturbed. GOOD LUCK!!
