The first conflict is between himself and his fatigue and lack for the desire to work. So you could say that it's a conflict between him and his lack of motivation. It's a conflict between his duty and his desire.

Death of a Salesman (Penguin Plays) by Arthur Miller while confusing when just read through the text alone, is an awesomely crafted play that takes drama to the next level. Now being interested in plays, I decided it was time to read this one, being that this is considered a classic by many (which I could easily see why). Reading this play makes me want to write plays. Reading something like this makes me believe that I can some up with something great too. I am glad that I finally took the time to read it.
