Willie [Over newspaper]: What happens to a dream deferred? Does it dry up like a raisin in the sun?

Biff [Taking seat at the breakfast table]: No, it festers like a sore and then runs.

Linda [Cooking at stove]: Hah! It stinks like rotten meat! Crusting and sugaring over--like a syrupy sweet!

Willie: Sigh. Maybe it just sags like a heavy load.
