Dry it out! It takes 7-10 days naturally/or even with meds to go away. I know a 2 DAY FULL TREATMENT. Licorice! Get some licorice, break it up into pieces to get powder and add a little water and apply it to the cold sores 4-5 times a day. It's amazing how quick it dries out. I had cold sores under my lip and around my left eye. Imagine the pain. Anyways, it works fast.

Sounds as if you have gastric flu.
Sunny or dry windy weather can cause herpes to break out.
Stress causes cold sores to break out as well - stress from not being well.
Fever blisters are the same as cold sores, sun blisters.
Use Zovirax (aciclovar)
