as long as you don't have to pay extra then sure if the technician you chat with works for the pc manufacturer you will get an answer that most times is reliable, the techs that pc company's hire are highly trained troubleshooters, not stupid lol

The best service only can be delivered when a person can see the problem in front of them. If you rely with online PC support (especially those require payments), and come here at Yahoo! Answers, you'll most probably get the same answers/suggestions.

hell no, the person you talk to is usually in India and can provide you no actual help but will give you a phone number that doesn't work. Your better off finding a computer repair shop somewhere

Source(s): called a PC support line about 3 hours ago and got a person in India who gave me a phone number to call that didnt work

Hard to say. You are better off posting on forums like yahoo answers if you have a problem.
