Android Task Manager / A Little Confused?

Ok I know. It is good to have one of the task managers in the android market but some of the system apps such as text messaging, settings, emails, maps, etc confuse me as to which list they should go into.. my thoughts are if I put messaging (text), eamils in the auto kill list, I won't get my alerts when I get a message or if I put maps in auto kill list, my gps won't work right... Am I right about this? Would someone give me a short list of the basics of what "really" needs to go in the auto ignore list?

Much appreciated

Your are right so far, the text/maps/socialnetworking/system/emails and all the services that came with your phone should be left alone, the only things you should add to auto kill are the downloaded apps that you don't use very often, cached in the background, for instance if you use the browser alot, you don't need to kill it because it will load up faster next time you launch it. All these apps are cashed into your RAM.
