What do you think of Hull?

I visited Hull many years ago and found it an interesting place and the people very friendly.

By the way, people from Hull are known as Kingstonians as its proper name is Kingstone-upon- Hul.

Its an ok place, I'm originally from there and still have family there, the best things about it is the fair ever October an bob carvers chippy, I try to get back there at least once a yr, I may live down south but will always be a yorkshire pud at heart lol

i sail to holland and belguim few times a year from there and always stop over night before, first did it about 20 years ago and it was rough as f**k, always ended up fighting (they didnt seem to like southerners!!) but now its better, lot of money spent trying to improve it, yeah there is social probs like a lot of UK town (i live in east lancs so we have fair share of crap areas). A friends son is at Uni there and loves it
