Not Enough Killing Machines for Republicans?
Virginia repealed a one-per-month limit on handgun purchases on Tuesday, less than five years after a mentally-deranged student used handguns to massacre 32 people at Virginia Tech University in the worst single act of gun violence in U.S. history.
Republican Governor Bob McDonnell, who is high on the list of possible 2012 Republican vice presidential candidates, signed the controversial legislation into law.
The limit had been on the books since 1993, when it was enacted in an effort to curb gun-smuggling operations. Virginia had a reputation as a state where gunrunners could arrange to purchase a volume of guns to sell on the streets of cities such as Washington, D.C. and New York.
There will be a day in this country when these actions will be considered to be criminal stupidity, now it is everyday Republican fare. More killing machines on the streets, why should they care?

Should we ban baseball bats too? How about carving knives?
Should hardware stores be licensed "weapons" dealers, because of all the sharp objects they sell?
America is becoming a wimp nation. I remember a story where an elementary school Principal banned the distribution of small candy canes. Reason? The "logic" here was that the candy canes could be sucked to a sharp point, and used to stab someone else. Paranoia by only a Liberal!

I don't see any logic in your rant.
If, by your thinking, one gun is enough to kill all of your family and the kids in the schoolyard, why is it important to wait 30 more days to get another?
The 'wait period" serves no purpose.

A gun is an inanimate object and requires a criminal to make it kill.
