Should I continue my story?

I want to write a story for myself. What are your thoughts so far. I will only let you see this little bit, but I want to know if I should continue?

The summer of 2010 was going to be the summer of my life. I was living the dream, living in the moment. Making promises to yourself to have the best summer probably isn’t the best idea. Planning ahead was never my forte. I never should have made those plans, because in the back of my mind I knew something would go horribly wrong. Little did I know my past would come back and hunt me down.

I felt like I was losing everything good that has ever happened in my life. My parents, my sisters, my brothers and my new found love. The walls were crumbling down around me. He was crazy and I think I may have let the murderous raving lunatic out. It is not like I meant to. Breaking up with someone is never easy but it had to be done. If I had stayed I would have died by my own hand. Losing my mind would have been first then my demise would come next.

When I found my true love, life felt whole again. It had meaning. There was a light at the end of the tunnel for me. Not expecting what would be blocking that tunnel, until it was too late, almost cost me my life.

I will tell you the story of how all of this came to be, but first I would like to tell you a little bit about myself. I want you to know who I am and know the people in my life. The names in this story have been changed to ensure the protection of everyone’s identity. If you feel that you are one of these people, do not continue to read.
