Planning vacation to St Thomas..any recommendations of places to stay or see?
Plan on going to St Thomas at end of July and have never been to Carribean. Any suggestions or stories of places to stay or see would be great. Thanks

WOW.. you are going to St. Thomas where you don't need a passport to be miserable and you can walk around pretending to be in a foreign country and still talk American.
St. Thomas is a big, sh*tty, noisy cruise ship port on a run down island. People who actually live in the USVI just go to St. Thomas for fun.. then go home to St. John or St. Croix to get away from the white trash tourists in St. Thomas.
If you want a really nice place to stay then get a pasport and go to a decent island.. but if you are absolutey adamant about toing to the sh*thole of the Caribbean.. then here are some places you can stay... or you can consider staying in St. John

My recommendation would be to go to St. John instead. Very pretty and way fewer cruisers. Make sure you get trip insurance, just in case, since it's hurricane season.
