unemployment when you leave a job and the new one doesn't work out?
i recently left employment for a job with benifits. now i am finding out that i am in alot of pain and can't continue the work. i don't think i would be eligible for unemployment in WI, anyone have dealt with anything simiar situation? thanks

One of the requirements for unemployment is you must be able and ready to accept full-time employment, as you are quitting because you can't work you would be ineligible either way.

No, you are correct. You are not eligible for unemployment. When you leave a job and the new one doesn't work out, you are to blame for the choice you made. Your previous employer will be contacted if you submit a claim to unemployment. Once the employer confirms that you quit, it becomes clear that you were not laid off through no fault of your own. Unemployment only pays out if you are let go through no fault of your own. You should consider this a painful learning experience.
