Since it's a fact that evolution is a hoax, should it still be taught in public schools?

It certainly should not be taught as a fact (which is usually is). It could be useful if taught in conjunction with the scientific method.

Present the hypothesis and have the students rigidly follow the scientific method to test the hypothesis. Let the see the evidence or lack thereof for themselves and let them test the evidence - are there alternate explanations for what is observed (usually there are - often these alternate explanations work better than evolution). What assumptions are made when interpreting the evidence, can those assumptions be proven? Force the students to think critically, test the evidence and just as importantly the interpretations of the evidence. If they apply the scientific method rigidly most will come away with serious doubts about evolution! None with a lick of intelligence will consider evolutioun a proven fact!

Edward: Carbon dating is only of value for a periods of thousands of years... So where do you get dates in the millions of years? Given you would make such a fundamental mistake it is obvious you are not in a position to provide a qualified opinion about radiometric dating!

jake: Genetic theory holds that both morphology and physiology are mediated by genes. As result a logical prediction would be that creatures of similar morphology and physiology would be more simlar genetically than creatures with less similar morphology and physiology. Your example validates genetic theory but says nothing about origins. As to ordered classification of the various species, you could create the same type of beautifully organized 'trees' with automobiles, planes, boats, buildings, computers etc. Are you asserting that advances in transportation, engineering and technology are the result of some evolutionary process? Seems to me this organization is equally if not more supportive of design than evolution!

Jake: With respect to dogs, mDNA evidence indicates that all the various species of Dogs are descendent from a single pair of wolves. Moreover dogs can successfully reproduce with wolves today - the biological definition of species is the ability to successfully reproduce, so despite the taxonomy, from a biological standpoint dogs and wolves are technically still the same species because they can produce reproductive offspring. Fossil evidence is largely interpretive and in most cases based on only fragments, the assertion of one being more primative than another is actually predicated on the presuppositon that evolution is true and therefore is not evidence of evolution, but rather amounts to circular reasoning.

Those who gave some details, thanks, now do please look a bit closer - not as clear as you made it seem is it? The rest just made vague general statements about alleged evidence, or provided links! This is exactly what I mean- look at the evidence in detail, test the evidence using the scientific method - does it hold up or is it as easily knocked down as those examples that were given? If you do take the time to look at the evidence critically and apply the scientific method you will be amazed at how flimsy the evidence really is.

The fact that if you look at the DNA of all animals and all plants, what you find is a beautifully arranged hierarchy, you find that our DNA is close to chimpanzees and slightly more distant to monkeys, slightly more distant still from rats, more distant still from lizards.The whole thing falls into a beautiful hierarchical pattern just like a family tree because it is a family tree. How do you explain that?

What about examples of one species to another, I'm sure you're saying right now. Well I'll show you that too.

When you talk about intermediates between species, we're of course not talking about intermediates between modern species, we're not talking about intermediates between dogs and cats, we're talking about intermediates between ancestral dogs and slightly more recent ancestral dogs. Now in the case of humans, since Darwin's time, there is an enormous amount of evidence about intermediates in human fossils. You've got various species of Australopithecus for example and some Australopithecus are intermediates between others and ourselves. Then you've got homo habilis and homo erectus. These are intermediates between Australopithecus which was an older species and homo sapiens which are a younger species.

I suppose my real question is why don't you see this as evidence for evolution. I've presented a mass of evidence for you and it's viewable in most museums. Why?

But behind the laughter is the despair at the fundamentalists striving so hard to destroy christianity by turning it from a religion to an ideology!

Surveys suggest that 29% of American christians are so extremist in their beliefs that they fall well outside of the accepted bounds of christianity!

Please state which extremist sect you belong to so that GOOD christians can disassociate themselves from you and explain why your sect is so at odds with Christianity!
