Choice of cell phone?
What is the cheapest cell phone I can buy for my grandfather that can be programmed with daily and weekly reminders. He is very forgetful and I need to buy him a phone that will remind him of daily medicines, birthdays and such?

Really any phone with a calendar can do that, just program the calendar to remind him of the desired things, now as for cheap...try any metro pcs phones or look for phones that come with deals at any big name like T-Mo or AT&T...make sure its not too difficult for your grandpa to use!

A SmartPhone with a long battery life is a good idea. 6 or 7 hours.
Auto Focus with the Camera comes in handy.
Touchscreen is also a handy feature.
MP3 (music player) is nice to have.
You may want a cellphone with the POP or IMAP if you use it.

I have a Net10 prepaid Samsung SCH-R451C. I can program my phone to do that. I am sure you can find a prepaid cell phone to do all of this. EIther a Tracfone or Net10 phone. The minutes are very reasonably priced as well.
