Yes 4 times but not Katrina. We evacuated for Katrina. The worst one we did stay for was George. We lost power for a week and only had a small generator for lights and the TV. The house didn't suffer damage other than some broken limbs all over the back yard. We weren't so lucky with Katrina. The house sustained major damage in that one. The other three only brushed New Orleans and we got weak category one winds only.

Yes, I have. I live on the Gulf Coast and have seen and felt many hurricanes.
I once with a friend went surfing during a hurricane.

Yes, Hurricane Carol (1954)
I lived through Hurricanes Gloria, Bob, Hanna & Irene, but none of them slammed into New England with the shrieking ferocity of Carol.

Yes, but it was in Korea so it was called a typhoon. I've also felt hurricane-force winds from thunderstorms.

In the physical, no, but in the Spirtual .... oh yeah...
strong winds in Canada, but not quite hurricane country, hon, not where I live..
but there are many kinds of winds.. here, in the spiritual, and soft breezes here too.

not literally, I suppose. but I have felt 100 mph gusts. We get hurricanes in Alaska, we just don't give them names.
