1989 Chevy Silverado C1500 not starting, why?

Its getting fuel, replaced: MAP sensor, throttle pos. sensor, fuel filter, plugs and wires, distr. cap and rotor, ignition mod. When the problem started, it would start and idle for a second or two then stall out repeatedly but now it just cranks and no fire.

Update:

Replaced MAP sensor, fuel filter, and ign. module after problem occured, everything else was recently replaced before the problem surfaced and it ran fine before this happened.

Update 2:

I do have a meter, how do you test it?

Update 3:

Update 4:

Turned out to be the Ignition Coil. Tested it before but I guess thats the way they go sometimes. Thanks for the help

The Distributor pick-up coil/shaft magnet are very troublesome on this vintage of Chevy!

NOTE: If you have a digital multi-meter, I can tell you how to test it!

ADDED: Check your Email for the procedure!

I easily have an '88 with an analogous engine. that's what I easily have performed so a techniques and talked a pair of upward push in gasoline mileage and much better suited acceleration and sound. Borg Warner music up areas, an Ebay chilly air intake for extra or less $40 5, somewhat greater rear tires, and a flowmaster muffler. A glasspack muffler must be even better suited alongside without catalytic converter yet i opt for my truck to be criminal. I additionally use guy made oil, I pay attention royal pink is the suited yet I even have been making use of valvoline. All of those areas must be stumbled on at your community areas save apart from the air intake. sturdy fulfillment and overall performance relaxing!

It would be worth while to check the engine ground wires. Alternator bracket to frame and cylinder head to firewall both on the pasenger side.

Did it run fine before you did all that work? If so check each thing you fixed to see where the problem is.
