Should Rush Limbaugh Be fired or have his SPONSORS boycotted?

Yes, plus I think the young woman should sue him for defamation. He called her a prostitute and said she got paid for sex he'd like to watch. he called her a slut. This is defamation as far as I am concerned. I know she said she was on birth control but that doesn't make her a prostitute. Something like this against a woman's character was always defamation material. it was totally inappropriate and certainly over the line.

I am glad to see that some pulled their ads. There is a difference between free speech and defamatory speech. the woman was testifying at a congressional hearing about birth control.

Limbaugh should get Fired. I seam to remember Imus Getting Fired for calling a woman a Nappy Headed Hoe so Shouldn't Rush Loose His job for calling a woman a Slut?

Emphatically NO!! Rush is stating the truth of Ms. Fluke's behavior and her expectation that someone other than she should pay for her contraception expenses when she can afford Georgetown Law and all of the costs involved. Why should taxpayers or for that matter why should my insurance premiums be raised to support this type of behavior that I find abhorrent! To admit to being this sexually active with presumably multiple partners since she is not engaged or married, flies in the face of another admonition by our government about transmission of the STDs. Her behavior bespeaks what would be called in other circumstances as a sex addiction. Maybe we should be discussing her need for counseling and rehabilitation as a sex addict.

Please cease all support of Rush Limbaugh - does your company stands for his values? He is disgusting and vulgar - stand up against hate - pull all of your advertising to rush and clear channel. Women will not go quietly, we will show up in front of the buildings housing companies like yours and we will be protesting, we will no longer purchase products from companies like yours that support haters, we will be on the floor at stock holder's meetings voicing our complaints and we will be heard. Slut Walks will proliferate and women will be protesting against every company that continues to support the War On Women rights and equality. Step up and denounce the hate!!!

Even if it did get too hot at his current station, Rush could easily get back on the air. The guy is a political shock jock. And yea he should get sued.

He won't be fired nor will the sponsors that stay be boycotted. The sponsors that leave will be immediately replaced.

So it doesn't really matter if he SHOULD be fired, it's simply not going to happen.

But no, I don't think he should be fired, I feel he should be free to say what he wants, I'm a very firm supporter in the first amendment. Personally I found what he said to be hilarious. The naysayers need to get a sense of humor.

Cookie and Ulhevdin, I know you clearly hate people who know something about the constitution, like Obama, but you are dead wrong. The constitution is about the government interfering with free speech rights. Individuals can be fired by corporations for what they say on the job (and sometimes off the job.) Likewise, boycotting is a form of free speech and if people choose to exercise it in protest of someone else's speech, that's also constitutional.

I think Rush should be advocating for all men who take viagra to have to do a sex tape because we are paying for them to have all the sex they want, whether nor not they are married. I don't see the difference.
