Red light ticket- What does W mean in place of Race (ethnicity)?

I recently got a ticket in the state of MA, I'm planning to appeal. On the ticket it has all kind of information about me and my car. In place of race it says W. I am an Indian (from India) and my skin color is far away from white. What might it mean and why? Thanks.

For the RACE category an officer is allowed to choose one of the following: A, B, I, or W

It means White, but if you think that little error is going to get you out of a ticket, you'd better think a different strategy. Errors like that have no effect on the validity of the ticket.

It doesn't matter. I can promise you the ticket WILL NOT be dismissed based on race. AT MOST, the citation will be amended in court and you will irritate the judge.
