If a dog had a urine specific gravity of 1.005 and was in renal failure, what could one expect the urine pH to be Alkaline or Acicid?

On the Ph scale from 1-14, 7 is neutral, and 1 is the most acidic, and 14 is the most alkaline, or basic. Dog urine is usually not far from neutral. It can be slightly basic, but it is normally slightly acidic, meaning lower in Ph.

Normal dog urine is slightly acidic. Usually around 6.5. The specific gravity doesn't have anything to do with the pH. The specific gravity is the concentration of the urine. Normal spgr is 1.025 to 1.035 depending on hydration status
