Im thinking of getting a tortoise. Got some questions?
If i decide to get one i will research more.
I am terrified of bugs and want to know if they eat bugs? If they did i wouldnt be able to have a tortoise =(
What do they eat?
Where would they live? Like cage or tank?
Do they require heat lamps?
How big do they grow? It wouldnt bother me, just wondering tho.
Do they have specific health needs?
And finally.. would they be ok with rabbits? I have 4 and would like them to live happily together. Im aware bonding can take time..
Thanks in advance.

tortoises require a home with at least 407 live kittens, a lava lamp, a dog house, a brand new tempromedic bed, 700 mice (they don't eat insects just mice) they also need you to sing opera while wearing a banana suit and throw tomatoes at yourself about once everyday or else they get sad and lonely.

Typically they eat things such as Lettuce (kale), squash, tomatoes etc....but you can (or not in your case) feed them crickets.
They will require a heat lamp, a UV lamp...a large tank (40 gallon breeder is best for the smaller breeds) and typically misting of the tank everyday.
If you are going to get one, I would recommend a Hermann's tortoise as they are one of the smallest breeds that are on the cheaper end of things. You should at least look into size before you buy another breed. You do not want to get a sulcata or a african spur thigh unless you have the room for a large outdoor exclosure.

They don't eat bugs they're herbivorous and require a mixed diet of vegetables, vegetation and fruits plus occasional supplements of minerals and vitamins. Just read the link below.
