I am thinking about going to school for a MA, CNA, or LNA?

I just don't know what is better to get me employed in the medical field. I want to work at a hospital and have them help me pay for a RN.

If you want to become an RN, forget MA, as medical assistants don't usually give you the experience you need in your field of study.

You're better off with becoming a CNA, since the job market for CNAs is always high/in demand, you get to work with nurses, and get some hands on experience. If you can handle the dirty work as a CNA, then you becoming an RN shouldn't be too daunting of a task, even though the two positions rarely overlap, meaning an RN almost never has to bathe the patient or help with toileting, etc.

A CNA and LNA are one and the same, certification vs licensed by state - Same position, same job, same pay.

    Good luck.
