iPhone 5 release date?

As with anyone that answers your question, I'm speculating. However, in all the reports of a fall release that I've seen, the rumors seem to be focused on the belief that Apple operates in a vacuum. In reality, competitors have surpassed the iPhone in multiple ways. The Galaxy 3 is allegedly going to launch in April and will severely pressure Apple for a response. There is no way that a for-profit business with shareholders would allow their competitors to gain a six month foothold on being the latest/greatest without a response. Apple would be jeopardizing its market share with "old" functionality and doing its shareholders a disservice by delaying the release until fall. Apple must remain relevant and competitive as their market share is slipping. I would be stunned if Apple allowed Droids to dominate new technology and the 4G market until October. Therefore, I'm predicting they will return to their summer release pattern and announce in June.

There really is a lot of rumors around when Apple plans on releasing the iPhone 5. Apple really hasn't said a lot of details about the specs or release date. I hear it may have an 8 MP camera, quad-core processor, and a 4 inch screen. I learned a lot about the phone from this video though. I think its worth waiting myself, I'm a big iPhone user though.

I agree with HuskerMark.

With so many excellent Android phones coming soon (including its biggest competitor galaxy s3) Apple shouldn't wait tilll october becaouse people will wait for a month or two but most of them won't wait 5+ months.

Contarcts of many iphone 4 users are running out soon so many of them will be on the market for a new smartphone and if the galaxy s3 and similar devices impress them (and they probably will) Apple could lose a lot of their customers (money).

Those are the reasons why I believe iphone 5 willl come out at wwdc this june, but apple often suprises us so we will just have to wait to see.

I wager it wont come out until 2012! i've got not even considered the variety yet and the White iphone 4 only got here out some months in the past and why could desire to they make iphone 5 it is stupid! in spite of the fact that in case you bypass on their internet site it does not say something approximately IPHONE 5
