Is there Income Tax rebate for housing loan for Addition/alteration loan?

I had availed a housing loan for buying a ready built House,Now after 4 years,I need to do Addition/alteration on that house,If I avail loan for Addition/alteration from same source will I get I.T Rebate for that loan on the same house ?Subasu a YA! use was kind enough to answer my query on I.T for Repair & maintenance.he got my thank you & 10 POINTS(Best Answer)

    Yes ,U can claim rebate by showing income from that house.
