What are some large shopping malls/Outlets in the LA area with designer shops in them?
I'm going to LA (staying at the Sheraon Universal City) in August and want to do some serious shopping. What and where are some big malls that I could go to, I especially am looking for shops like Juicy Couture, Bebe, American Eagle, Hollister, Guess etc.
Any names of malls and locations I could look up and visit?
Thanks so much :)

There's the L.A. Fashion District which is a 90 block area of downtown that is crammed with shops selling designer label clothing at huge discounts.

The Grove Shopping Center which is a 575,000 sq. ft. mega-mall that has every sort of store, shop and boutique selling every kind of clothing and accessories. There's every kind of dining experience, a movie cineplex and spas too.

Beverly Center Mall. This 8 story mall has every kind of clothing and accessory store/shop from Macys and JC Penney up to boutiques that are so exclusive (expensive) they are only open by appointment. Unusual and very good food court too. A must see.

There are two mini-malls connected to the famous Rodeo Dr. shopping street. The Rodeo Collection and 2 Rodeo are upscale and worth checking out for the fabulous designer label clothing.

Rodeo Drive (Beverly Hills), The Grove (Los Angeles), Century City Mall (West LA), Beverly Center(Beverly Hills), Santa Monica Place/3rd Street (Santa Monica), Melrose Ave (Hollywood), Americana (Glendale), Abbot Kinney (Venice)
Those all seem to be the best. They range in prices and shops but most of those will have the kind of things you're looking for. Heads up though, some places in Rodeo Dr, are obscenely expensive.

For clarification, Beverly Center has Macy's and Bloomingdale's as it Department store anchors. The Glendale Galleria has Target, Macy's, Penney's, and Nordstrom and a wide range of other stores. Across the street is the Americana at Brand with even more shopping. From Universal it is a similar drive to the other suggestions. Los Angeles has shopping galore.
