Something that i have done at home, its very fun!

    Materials:

One eight ounce bottle of Elmer's glue.

    Empty tuperwear dish.

    Food dye, any color.

    Hot/warm water.

Borax cleaning agent(Borax is usually found in the cleaning aisle of your grocery store next to the powdered laundry soaps. The most common brand is 20 Mule Team Borax.)

    Two plastic spoons.

First you pour out the glue into the dish. Then you add the color food dye you want( be careful not to put too much, four or five drops is good)

Next add three scoops of Borax, and sturr with the spoon. Keep adding borax untill the substance is rubery.

Then take it out and mend with your hands.

If it is too gooy, add more Borax, if you want it a darker color, feel free to add more coloring. Dont be afraid to mix and match colors. If it is too rubbery, ad more water.

When you are done, you have slime. Place in a plastic bag to keep it fresh and play forever!

    Cool Chemistry Experiments

Well awhile ago my chemistry class did this lab where we put different metals into flame. You're gonna need. Its a simple metal experiment but the fire ends up looking really cool.

Well what kind of stuff do you have access to? If you have access to actual (safe) chemicals, you can do a lot of really cool and simple projects (making silver nitrate-lined bottles, oscillating colors in a solution). If you can only use household objects, that's a lot different

show two beakers of clear liquid ( water? )

and each is one liter, pour them together into one container and notice that you do not get two liters of liquid, WHY? the answer is one beaker was filled with alcohol, and the demonstration is that the molecule size is different, you can accentuate the demonstration by taking a beaker full of marbles and pouring some BBs into it and observing the result.

and this from the character who was thrown

out of Chemistry for being a FREE RADICAL

Put Alka Seltzer in a bottle of water, attach balloon to bottle, watch balloon blow up.

Show your class how to make crystals (really you're going to make lsd) and have everyone including the teacher taste them. Watch everyone, i guarantee hilarity will occur, oh and possibly a prison sentence.
