I took a video on one cannon camera and put the memory card inside another, it says cannot play back avi?

How can I convert the video so it can play on this camera?

    Cameras are not like iPhones, and they are designed to create videos, not an all purpose playback system.

    Download the"Any Video Converter"(free) and convert it.....

    i still dont think you can watch the video, since they told me that once you have open it on a comouter or copy something into it, they cant read it..even if it's in the right format, they are very sensitive.....

    The camera is not a viewing device. Usually, it will only play unmodified videos it made itself.
