What is wrong with Americans?

Did anyone notice that the Attorney General got up and gave a speech saying this administration feels it is lawful and good to kill American citizens anywhere on Earth without a trial or due process. If the administration decides that anyone might be a potential threat they have the right to kill them.

Does this not bother anyone? We are so focused on mane calling the big important things just go right on by us with no real debate, anger or action.

It is scary how many freedoms and rights have been taken while the citizens of this country do nothing.

Update:

I live in America, that is why it is so frustrating.

Update 2:

scott b: I did not like it when Bush did it either, no one noticed than either. So you are saying you agree with it?

That is because of the indoctrination of the younger generation by the Marxist left over the last 20 years or so. It is a classic example of the people being sheep and believing whatever Obama and the left tell them, like this will make the world safer.

That's a good question. Why does the Attorney General defend killing American citizens one day and then attack New York for monitoring Muslim communities the next day. The man is intellectually feeble.

Uh....where were you from 2000-2008 when Bush coined the term "enemy combatant" to do whatever they wanted to anyone they wanted (google "Jose Padilla". An American CITIZEN picked up off the street and locked in GITMO without due process.

And, by the way....if you had ANY clue, The attorney General doesn't make laws. And, HE didn't even make this one. He was interpreting his allowable action based on laws from a PREVIOUS administration (guess which one ;)

You'd seem a lot less like an idiot if you got some FACTS before you came on here.

    NDAA

Yes i know. It bothers me greatly. Only Ron Paul speaks out against this terrible law. Obama signed this law. This is unconstitutional, and the amount of power this gives the government is unreasonable.

It is why i hated Bush for the patriot act and Obama for adding to it. Then Obama signed the NDAA which is some scary stuff.

OK. Then you go in the military and go behind enemy lines and bring them out alive. YOU risk your life. (insert insult here)

edit. I suspect you are Swede. Figures.
