Try an intro course in chemistry. It seems to be a big stumbling block for many nursing students I have taught. Research well the reputation of the instructor. That person can have a big influence on your progress. Learn dimensional analysis which will get you thru chemistry. It requires some math skills but common sense is really what you need. Many other nursing courses require good memory skills. Chemistry some basic math skills. Good luck and don't let chemistry scare you.
