Does this prove that certain Religions and Cultures can never mix?

No, it means that there are certain people within each group that are extremists. Stoning is absolutely horrible, and I know numerous muslim people who would be horrified at the thought of such a thing. Remember, there are psychotic christians as well (KKK, crusaders, etc.). What humans really need to do is remove culture and organized religion altogether. Personal spiritual belief is fine, but murder in the name of said belief is NOT. We are HUMANS, not muslims, christians, blacks, whites and arabs. Senseless war, anger, hate and persecution in the name of arbitrary social constructs such as race and religion is absolutely ridiculous. Humans can live together, for we are all the same. To one of the commenters, of course people can change, they just have to break free from the indoctrination of their childhood. We are meant to be together. Separation based on race/religion is idiotic.

Religion and cultural costumes are inbreed into an individual from the time they are born. You grow to embrace such beliefs and they come to define you as a person. It is said that a person can never truly change , if that is so then NO I do not believe so,

And to answer your question, I agree SOME cultures can't happily mix with others since they are just too different.
