The "Authorization for Use of Military Force Against Iraq" was approved by Congress in October 2002.

When Obama started bombing Libya he didn't bother getting Congressional approval and instead called it a "kinetic military action"

You're talking about two different things here.

In the Constitution, Congress is the body that has the power to declare war -- that provision has taken quite a beating over the years.

In international law, either a country must be attacked, or the UN has to authorize some military action.

It's absurd to say that Obama "sided with the UN OVER the American people."

Congress has the power to cut funding and therefor cannot be overruled by the President making your claim false.
