It's pretty simple to delete a app. Simple put you're finger on the app and hold it for about 10 seconds till you see a tiny 'x' that appears on top/next to the app in the upper top corner until it wiggles.. Then you can click to delete the app. And yes, you will get memory back for deleting the app...however much memory the app takes, you will get back that same amount.

Good Luck and Hope I helped! :)

to delete an app, press and hold on the icon until it wiggles. then press the little 'x' on the app you want to delete. you should get back however much space that app took up. so if it took up 100mb, you should have 100mb free.

ive never deleted apps off itunes, and next time you sync to itunes it should recognise the changes. you can see in your device settings how much space everything takes up and how much you have left

    hope this helps :)
