Need help on battery tips.?

I have a lithium-ion battery and I use the computer A LOT. What I'm thinking about doing is every time I plan to use the laptop for a very long time I will connect the PC to AC power, take out the battery and put it in a plastic bag when when it has 40% of charge based on what I have read online. I've also read that I should put the li-ion battery on the fridge; it's that safe? doesn't the moisture ruin the inside components? I would be really grateful if someone could answer me :)

Lol they best way to keep a battery healthy is by using it where it drains completely at least once a week, no need to removed it or freezing it.

    WRONG.

Never take out the battery. Use with AC Adapter plugged in as much as possible.

To improve and extend the life of your battery, do this:

At least once every two weeks, or more often, unplug the AC Adapter and run the laptop off of battery power only, until the battery is fully drained and the laptop shuts down. Plug in and fully recharge the battery, either while the laptop is in use or with the laptop shut off.

The battery needs this drain - recharge cycle to keep in good working order.

Also keeping the battery in will not harm it in any way. There is a sensor that cuts charging on and off, as needed.
