are proline washing machines made under any other brand name..?

have searched all over the internet to get a door seal/gasket for my old machine that is still going strong after 23 years, only thing is the door seal is leaking..if anyone can help, even an address for the makers would help...thanks

    Proline are Comet's own in house brand. Try Espares.

    I have heard that powder detergents are hard on the pumps in washing machines, but I dont know that there is any truth to it. Personally, I take anything that a salesman says with a grain of salt, most of them are total morons or liars. If you want some intelligent advice on whether it is hard on the machine, ask an appliance repairman.
