Can you still collect your social security if you move out of the country?

I have a friend that is retired and collecting social security. She want to move to south america where it is a lot cheaper to live. She asked me if she could still collect her social security if she moves out of the country but doesn't give up her citizenship here.

A citizen can continue to receive their Social Security checks unless they move to Cuba or North Korea certain countries which are, or were, under communist rule.

OK - I've done some googling. She needs to google "Payments Outside the United States" if she will be outside of the United States for six consecutive months or more.
