How to burn a bootable mac os x snow leopard retail dvd (a .dmg) format in windows 7?

Unfortunately you have to purchase a program that lets you read the dmg image.

It is better just to use a mac to burn the disk because its more compatible, better still its free and does not require you to purchase any programs.

Might I suggest you upgrade to Mac OS X Lion which is about $30 from the mac app store which is available in the latest version of Snow Leopard.

The reason I brought this up is because a newer upgrade called mountain lion is going to be released some time this summer (northern hemisphere).
