Why doesn't MWP play like this more often?
When Metta plays like this, the Lakers are a different team. When he plays like this, the Lakers look more like a contender. He was aggressive, engaged, played solid defense on Pierce, and showed his old Ron Artest intensity in that little scrum with Pierce and KG.

He did not think there was going to be a season this year, so he had not really been practicing. He is still getting his groove back. Hopefully, he will continue to get better.

Because he's playing the Celtics, not the Heat, Thunder, or Bulls.
He's playing the CELTICS... EVERYONE on the Lakers step it up when they play the Celtics.
It's quite obvious and easy to understand...not that hard to get.
