Large Screen TV 55"-65". To wall mount or not to wall mount?

I am about to purchase a large screen TV. Aside from the obvious inconvenience of altering plugins in leads (HDMI and composite) are there any other issues.

I have heard that as operating TV's generate heat that wall mounted TV have ventilation issues which can affect the life and operation of the TV.

Is is better not to wall mount a large flat screen (LED TV) or is it a non issue?

Thanks in advance

wall mount you will have leads hanging from your tv which are not nice to look at, unless you do wire them through the wall,

which will mean a total headache when something goes wrong or you want to upgrade your cables you will have take the tv down and maybe bang a few holes into the wall to sort out the cables

i prefer not to wall mount due to cables are easier to hide anything goes wrong with the system , easier to get to cables and less hassle when you want to upgrade

I really don't think its that big of an issue, I've had a wall mounted 47 inch and it never seemed to get that hot, i was also concerned of this when i was mounting it, but the mount that i bought i could bring the TV off the wall a good 6 inches.

    i'd say go wall mount
