Fun things to do with kids at Disneyland?
I am taking my three children to Disneyland next month for the first time. Aside from the rides, what cool things are a "must see?" I have two girls, 6 and 2, who are very into princesses and a 3 year old son who loves Cars. Any suggestions would be awesome :)

At the Disneyland park there is the "Fantasmic" show where you can see images from water and its at night. Its a very nice show and you many of the characters there.
The California adventure park has "The world of Color" where its also at night and you see more images from water but its so breathtaking.
Another one is to watch the Aladin show in California Adventure. It is a musical and the actors are very great. It's in a night theatre and its fun for all ages.

California Adeventure is opening up "Cars Land" soon so there's posters and previews up. (He can take pictures with life sized Mater and Lightning). There's a Princess show though you'll spend tons of money (its by Toon Town, if you wish to avoid it).
If your son, girls, (or husband) like Star Wars, theres a show by a restaurant in Tomorrow Land where they choose kids from the crowd to become Jedi Knights! They get little light sabers and defeat Darth Vader. Also in New Orleans Square the Princess and the Frog characters are always around.
If your kids are (or you, really) exhausted go to Pirates of the Caribbean. It's slow but visually stimulating and the chlorine has a calming odor to it. Your kids might knock right out before leaving (I like to call the Pirates ride "Humane Child Sedation")
Have a magical day!! : D

If you have little princesses, then you MUST see the Princess Fantasy Faire. It's just to the left of "It's a Small World", and they have a very cool meet and greet with the princesses. Be prepared for long waits, but it's worth it.
Mater and Lightning McQueen have a spot over in DCA, adjacent to Cars Land (which won't open until summer). It's cool to get a photo with them.
I highly recommend a character meal. Plaza Inn has a character breakfast, which is inside the park. Goofy's Kitchen, located inside the Disneyland Hotel, has 3 character meal buffets per day.
Finally, check with the cast member upon entering into the park. You can get a schedule of character meet and greets. Don't miss Mickey and Minnie in their home in Toon Town.

bypass to Balboa sea coast next to Newport-the pier is tremendous and Rubys on the top-besides because the relaxing zone by potential of how (decrease than a block) on the harbor. Its quieter and the breeze is awesome. you could employ those 4 human being buggy/motorcycles and journey the "boardwalk" alongside between Newport and Balboa. i have lived close to all my existence and am attending to hate the crowds-so worth it to park on the piers parking zone and performance a chance-free,calm sea coast day! Costa Mesa has an outside market-the great and best swapmeet ever-each sat/solar on the fairgrounds. The bagel guy is the great and there is each concievable ingredient of purchase. Its a chilled day and also you ought to employ wagons for the little ones. 2.00 to get in. bypass early and walk contained in the cool of morn. It begins at 6 or 8AM i imagine. look into Costa Mesa Fairgrounds or marketplace position on the internet The wild animal park in San Diego is rea;lly useful too-no longer a lot trekking because the zoo (quite some hills-i does no longer do it with a touch one)and a useful practice journey by potential of the factors which could be tremendous for the small one too-
