I plan on getting the everything data plan for a Sprint 4g Iphone and Jailbreaking the Iphone. Will I be able to use the phone as a modem for other devices (tethering)? Any advice?

I was thinking of doing the same with mine and looked up just that like 2 days ago. You can download an app called MiFi once it's unlocked and use it as a hotspot. Look on YouTube and they'll show up you how to download it... Just search MiFi
